The Chayadol Boutique Resort is the newest hotel in Chiang Rai and it was my good choice to stay there during my recent trip to Thailand’s northernmost province. I knew I was having a great time there as I’ve already read their reviews on Agoda and Tripadvisor before making my booking.
I arrived at the hotel on a Thursday afternoon at 4pm and it was raining heavily when I got out of the taxi. One of the staff girls quickly came to me with a big umbrella and led me to reception. The receptionists were super friendly and within two minutes the check in was done and I followed the girl to my room.
The hotel has 14 rooms and they are divided into two types: King Size bed and Twin beds. They are super modern, clean and bright. They all have a balcony with view to the swimming pool. All rooms are well equipped with air conditioning, flat screen televisions, a fridge (free water), a water cooker, a wardrobe, hair dryers and more. There is also free Wi-Fi internet available for guests.
The Chayadol Boutique Resort has also a lot of great amenities that made me quite surprised as it’s hard to find a hotel in this price range with these kind of offerings. They include a swimming pool, fitness room with brand new equipment, a meeting room and even a karaoke room.
Buffet breakfast is included in the room price and available from 7am to 10am. There is a decent selection of bread, butter and jam, scrambled egg, fruits, coffee, juice as well as Thai dishes. If you would like to book a tour or rent a motorcycle, just go to the reception they will help you with everything. I asked to rent a motorcycle for the day and after 20 minutes the bike was delivered and ready to go.
If you are planning a trip to Chiang Rai and haven’t booked your hotel yet – go and pick Chayadol Boutique Resort! I highly recommend it.
